I realize that this is not as flashy as flash, and not as dramatic as DHTML, but I've never claimed to be a graphic designer. I'm a programmer. I program. I can honestly say that I "know" many languages (HTML, PHP, JavaScript, C++, ASP, VB, ASP.NET, SQL, XML and C#, to name a few). At work, I use mostly C#.NET to power ASP.NET page, but there seem to be endless requests to update an ancient page that uses ASP to hit an Access Database. What do I do? I'm on a team that configures and updates web pages for law firms. BiographyIn 1979, I was born to two migrant workers in the heart of New Guinea. When I was 18 months old, I was sold to a family in the north of France. When my new family realized that I wasn't the newborn girl that they ordered from the catalog, they dished me off to a lady everybody called "COL", which I later learned was simply an abbreviation for "Crazy Old Lady". The last time I remember seeing my surrogate mother and best friend COL was in a park one day, where my wonderful parents found me. They took me home, raised me, and treated me as their own. After I graduated from DePaul in '01, I moved around a little, and I now find myself on the northwest side of Chicago (almost Niles). Resume/Professional HistoryDuring my career at DePaul, I was introduced to the computer world. I picked up some skills here and there, and landed a job with the world-famous BleuChannel consulting company. I stayed with them for about two years and moved on to PaxZone.com. They have since gone out of business. I then fell into People Enablement at the Technology Park with Accenture, which has since moved downtown and changed names 3 times. Because a slew of very normal reasons, I left Accenture and moved onto Arlex Technologies, Inc for a few months. It only took me a few months to realize that Arlex wasn't the right place for me, and I now find myself happily programming for HubbardOne. Links/Pics
